    MAJOR FUNCTION:

    Freight Claims:

    • Obtain proof of delivery and process freight claims.
    • If a freight claim is valid, provide JB Hunt freight claims details for them to file with the carrier.
    • All communications/documentation to be attached to the claim request in Salesforce.

    Returned Goods Authorization (RGA):

    • rocess requests for Returned Goods Authorization (RGA); initiate returns and inspections with internal departments and external sources.
    • If TOTO is paying for the product to be returned, provide JB Hunt necessary info to coordinate the return with the customer. Also, copy the customer and the originator of the claim in Salesforce.
    • If the customer is paying for the product to be returned, provide the customer and the originator of the claim in Salesforce the RGA for the requested product.
    • Follow-up on outstanding RGAs communicate as necessary to relevant departments depending on the status of the RGA (pending receipt of product from customer, received in warehouse, etc...)

    Overage, Shortages, Damages:

    • Research and process customer claims of damage and/or shortage on various modes of transport.
    • For damage, review documentation provided by carrier and/or customer that documents damage at the time of delivery.
    • Verify if damage is covered by WDA or a credit should be processed.
    • For Shortages, review POD and/or Contact Distribution Center to validate shortage via a cycle count and/or they will contact the customer to obtain additional information.

    Sales Sample Request (SSR) Credit Requests:

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
